I always go on vacation with a plan in mind. I do not claim to be 'keto perfect' 100% of the time, especially when I am on vacay. I strive to be as low carb as possible, but I know my carb load will be higher than normal so I don't want to throw a ton of fat into the mix (carbs + fat = weight gain)

Something happened to me this past summer that really solidified the fact that ‘the scale is not the true measure of how our bodies are changing with keto.
One late afternoon we had a happy hour with our neighbors – there was a nice group of people there that I haven’t seen since the summer before.

In my personal and business life, I like to set goals. I take those goals and break them down into digestible pieces. I schedule myself so that I can achieve these goals in a balanced, fun, and reasonably paced way. I really try to live my life with intention and purposely plan my life this way.

'Tis the season for temptations! Baking, delicious celebratory meals, drinks with friends... plus for some of us, it’s cold and we just want to get cozy and eat comfort food!
Sometimes there are hard things to deal with this time of year too... all of these things can make sticking to our healthy eating plan quite a challenge.
