FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
1. Do you need to be eating a Ketogenic diet to benefit from Intentionally Bare’s products?
Not at all.
Our products are amazing for good health, whether you are Paleo, Vegan (please read the labels, a few of our products are not Vegan), Low Carb or just looking to improve your regular diet and get healthier.
-
2. Are your products gluten free, grain free, dairy free, maltodextrin free, non-GMO and free of artificial colors, flavors and fillers?
Yes to all of the above.
We manufacture our products with the highest of standards as we feel the ingredients we don’t put into our products is just as important as the ingredients we put into our products.
-
3. Do you use chemical solvents to make your products?
No, our products use no chemical solvents in production/processing.
-
4. Are your MCT products organic?
Yes, they are! If the MCT Oil/Powder you are using is not organic, then chemicals are sprayed on the coconuts while they are growing, and they can leach into the coconut, which means they get into the MCT Oil eventually.
It’s worth it to us to have organic MCT Oil as that is the healthiest MCT Oil there is. -
5. What’s the difference between coconut oil and MCT oil?
Coconut oil is 55% MCT’s, while MCT Oil is made of 100% MCT’s. Coconut oil contains large quantities of lauric acid, the least efficient MCT.
-
6. Can you explain what MCT’s are and the different ratings for them?
MCT’s stand for Medium-chain triglycerides. They are derived from coconut oil, but coconut oil has only has 55% MCT’s, while MCT Oil is made of 100%MCT’s. So we naturally extract MCT’sfrom the coconut oil. There are 3 parts to MCT’s… C8, C10, and C12 (C stands for Caprylic Acid).
In order for a product to be the healthiest and best to produce ketones and support brain health, it should be at least 60%C8 | 40% C10. C8 is the absolute best you can get, and our Pure C8 Organic MCT Oil is 99.2% C8 | .8% C10. C8 increases ketones by approximately 3x more than C10.
Our Organic MCT Oil Capsules are 70% C8 | 30% C10 and our Organic MCT Oil Powder is 70% C8 | 30% C10.
We never use C12 as it’s basically useless and most brands out there use C12 because it’s the leftover part of the oil that top manufacturer’s don’t want. If the label does not show the MCT breakdown, it’s probably C12 or just coconut oil.All of our MCT Oil products are Organic, Non-GMO and at least 70% C8.

7. Do you have to use all of the products together?
How you use the products is a personal choice. You can use them all and literally replace meals/snacks with them, or you can replace one meal. Or you can add them to your day anytime it fits. Here is an example of how you could use them all if you are on a Ketogenic diet:

8. What is the main source of protein used in your Bone Broth Protein Powder?
Our Intentionally Bare Bone Broth protein powder is made from the bones of grass-fed, pasture-raised cows in the USA. We use beef bones because they have more collagen than any other animal.
-
9. How do you mix the Bone Broth Protein Powder?
With water, unsweetened almond milk or milk:
Cold: Add to liquid and mix in a blender or shaker cup with whisk ball
Hot: Add powder to cup/container first, add hot water while whisking briskly. Or add hot water and powder to a blender and blend.
* Due to the very high collagen level of this product, it will foam up FAST. Do not over blend.

10. Besides being an energy drink, is the Keto BHB also an electrolyte drink?
Yes, it is. If you are following a Ketogenic diet you will also need added potassium citrate though, so make sure to take more either by pill form or you can buy it in a powder and add that to the KetoBHB drink.
