I remember when my kids were young… summers were SO fun! We had a pool, and our place was the hangout. Both kids have July birthdays, so you know what that means… birthday pool parties! Also sport 'wind up' parties, 'end of the year class' parties, 'just because' parties… always at our house.
I loved it. Every single loud, messy moment of it.
In my family, I am the only keto’r… while most of our meals are healthy and good for everyone, I tend to add a lot of my own fat after cooking (pro-tip: if you have family members not doing keto, but you make high-fat food... they will most likely gain weight! Ask my husband how I know this), lol
Usually, I just avoid the carby foods and/or replace them with low carb options.
