It’s nice to have an easy going personality and let things come as they may... for some things. But when it comes to health and weight loss (and a lot of other things), ‘winging it’ won’t give us the results we’re looking for.
Let’s talk about the power of intentionally creating the life we want ♥️
🔷 Be clear on your why
It’s great to have goals and ambitions, but overloading ourselves with ‘I have to do this, and I have to do that’ can be so overwhelming that we may give up. Decide what is your ‘why’... the thing that matters the most to you and why does it? If something is your #1 why, make it a priority over all else. The other things will no doubt come along for the ride, but when you’re clear on what’s really important, it’s easier to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
🔷 Be intentional
Being proactive and planning ahead is GOLD. Things like meal planning, having the right food in the house and making a plan for a social evening is totally different than ‘it’s out of my control, may as well eat whatever.’ Intentional vs passive.
🔷 Stop making excuses
If you hear yourself making excuses like ‘I don’t have the right food in the house’, ‘I never have any good meal ideas’ or ‘I have too many temptations around me’ who needs to take ownership here? You do. It’s up to you to be sure you have what you need in your house to be successful. It’s up to you to check out the Topics tab in our group for group fave recipes, or look on Pintrest or YouTube for free keto recipes. There are always compromises that can be made with other members of your house. For example, my husband enjoys having some potato chips in the evening (my weakness) so I asked him if he would mind eating them when I go to read for an hour every evening. He still gets his chips but I don’t get temped ♥️
