Is it too hot to drink coffee?

If you have been following me for a while, you know I love my morning coffee! I’m all about the fatty coffee life.  The day doesn’t seem to go right if I don’t start it off right with my  fatty coffee.  Anyone else?

 

I do find, on a super-hot summer day, I crave the coffee, but I don’t want the heat from a nice cup of freshly brewed coffee.  So, what can we do? My solution? A Keto Cold Brew coffee turned into a healthy keto smoothie. 

 

You can actually make a Keto Cold Brew coffee several different ways.  I love to take my normal fatty coffee, throw it in a blender, add some ice cubes and TAA DAA Keto Cold Brew Coffee smoothie to the rescue.  I do have another very tasty option that I posted about a while ago.  This Keto Cold Brew Coffee smoothie recipe comes from Peace Love and Low Carb.  If you want to kick it up a notch, add in a scoop of MCT powder and a scoop of Collagen

  

I put the information from the Keto Cold Brew Coffee smoothie original recipe, as on the website, into MyFitness Pal and these are the macros: Calories 125 * Fat 4.5 * Total Carbs 7 * Net Carbs 3 * Protein 16  -  Please note that if you use products/brands different than Peace Love and Low Carb, your macros could be different.
