Keto-Friendly Desserts

One of the things I love about winter is that I can spend more time playing around in the kitchen. That means more experiments with yummy keto-friendly recipes. I love playing with desserts in the winter months because it’s no big deal if I heat the kitchen up making keto-friendly cupcakes or keto-friendly pies.

Some people decide that they don’t want any sweet-flavored treats while they’re on their keto journey. I completely get that. Even if you’re avoiding sugar, the sweet taste of artificial sweeteners can trigger sugar cravings, which can be a big deal for some people. However, if you’re tolerating sweeteners well, and are wanting some ideas for keto-friendly desserts, I’ve got a list for you.

Please note that in these recipes, I always use non-GMO sweetener, and I often use my Intentionally Bare MCT Oil (US | Canada) in place of any other vegetable oils. If the recipe calls for butter, I will usually use butter because of the texture.

Chocolate Chip Cookies – These are, of course, my favorite. I keep them in the freezer, and enjoy two in the afternoon or evening with a cup of tea!

Matcha Cupcakes – These lovely, surprisingly light cupcakes have a great flavor!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies – I’m a big fan of the protein punch that these cookies give. I will sometimes have them after a workout.

Keto Chocolate Mug Cake – I love this mug cake because I don’t need to make an entire cake; if I’m in the mood for something quick and sweet, I can whip this up. Perfect for a chilly evening in front of the fire!

Salty Chocolate Pecan Bark - I keep this recipe on hand for when I’m craving chocolate. It gives me a good mix of sweet and salty!

Blueberry Cake – This recipe is pretty versatile. I can use it as a dessert or make it for a sweet weekend breakfast treat!

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Fat Bombs – Chocolate covered strawberries are one of those decadent treats that I thought I would have to give up when I started keto. This recipe lets me enjoy that incredible treat whenever I want. Be sure to store these in the freezer to keep the strawberries fresh and tasty.

Chocolate Vanilla Marble Pound Cake – I make this recipe often to share with friends. It travels well and is perfect for a small group get-together! I take it over if we’ve been invited to dinner at a friend’s house. Then I can be sure that I can enjoy dessert, and we’re not showing up empty-handed!

Fudgey Double Chocolate Brownies – Now this recipe I don’t share with anyone! Occasionally, only the taste and texture of gooey, fudgy brownies like these will do the trick! If I need extra fat, I add some home-made whipped cream; almost as good as a warm brownie ala mode!

Italian Wedding Snowball Cookies – Italian wedding cookies done keto style! I love these sweet treats any time!

Chocolate Fat Bombs - This is a basic fat bomb recipe; it’s quick and easy and perfect for even the most novice baker!
